This low cost, educational workshop for women, men, family, and friends faced with the challenges of infertility. The workshop will cover topics including the causes of infertility, when to seek treatment, and what treatments are available. Participants will also learn about Holistic & Integrative medicine options such as acupuncture and nutrition, as well as tools for the emotional and financial aspects of infertility.

The workshop was created in the fall of 2013 out of the need for more education and awareness about the disease of infertility. The organizers realized that there was an extreme lack of fertility education and awareness in the Richmond area. The inaugural event was a three hour session that had an array of presenters including doctors, therapists and acupuncturist. The response was so great that the organizers decided to expand the event to a full-day workshop with multiple sessions covering a multitude of topics. This workshop is open to any and every one wanting to learn more about infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

After two successful workshops, we were invited to join forces with The Race to Parenthood 5k to become a part of the new non-profit The Road to Parenthood, an educational 501(c)(3).
